The STIHL AS System is STIHL’s compact cordless platform for lighter, shorter and more frequent tasks. Its tools are designed to be easy to carry, manoeuvre and store, making them particularly useful when you want to complete a small job without preparing a larger machine.
Current compatible tools use the removable STIHL AS 2 lithium-ion battery. The battery has a rated voltage of 10.8V, an energy content of 28Wh and weighs approximately 0.22kg. Important: the AS 2 battery is not interchangeable with STIHL AK or AP batteries and is not compatible with the older STIHL HSA 25 garden shears.
