The STIHL FS-KM Strimmer Attachment is a straight-shaft grass-trimmer KombiTool for compatible petrol STIHL KombiEngines and cordless STIHL KombiMotors.
It is designed for cutting grass and light weeds along lawn edges, beside walls and fences, beneath hedges, around trees and in other areas that a lawn mower cannot reach.
The attachment is supplied with a STIHL AutoCut C 26-2 twin-line mowing head. This head advances additional mowing line when it is tapped on the ground while rotating, allowing the user to continue trimming without stopping to adjust the line manually.
Important: This listing is for the complete FS-KM shaft attachment and mowing head. A KombiEngine or KombiMotor is not included and must be purchased separately.

Straight-shaft design
The straight shaft provides useful reach when cutting grass beneath hedges, around trees and alongside fences, walls and paths.
Compared with the shorter curved-shaft FSB-KM, the FS-KM is better suited to more regular grass trimming, wider areas and users who want compatibility with petrol and cordless STIHL Kombi power units.
AutoCut C 26-2 twin-line mowing head
The supplied AutoCut C 26-2 is a robust two-line mowing head designed for grass trimming and clearing work around obstacles.
Additional line is released by tapping the mowing head against the ground while it is rotating. The guard-mounted trimming blade then cuts the line to the correct operating length.
Simple line refilling
The AutoCut C 26-2 can be refilled from the outside without dismantling the complete mowing head.
It is compatible with STIHL mowing line in 2.4mm and 2.7mm diameters. The most appropriate line depends on the fitted power unit, grass conditions and approved cutting configuration.
Alternative mowing-head options
In addition to the supplied AutoCut C 26-2, STIHL identifies approved SuperCut, PolyCut and DuroCut mowing heads for use with the FS-KM.

Can I fit a metal blade to the FS-KM?
Do not fit a metal blade unless that exact cutting tool, guard and power-unit combination is approved by STIHL. The MB-KM is the dedicated KombiTool supplied with a metal grass-cutting blade.
What is the difference between FS-KM and FSB-KM?
The FS-KM has a straight shaft, larger AutoCut C 26-2 head and compatibility with suitable petrol and cordless Kombi power units. The FSB-KM has a curved shaft, smaller AutoCut C 6-2 head and is intended for compatible petrol KombiEngines only.
Can the FS-KM cut brambles?
The standard nylon-line setup is intended for grass and light weeds. It is not the preferred attachment for established brambles or thick woody vegetation.
Safe use and maintenance
Read both the FS-KM instructions and the instruction manual supplied with the connected KombiEngine or KombiMotor before use.
