Description
The STIHL KM 94 RC-E Petrol KombiEngine is a lightweight and versatile power unit designed for large gardens, property maintenance and professional landscaping. At the heart of the KM 94 RC-E is a fuel-efficient 24.1cm³ STIHL 2-MIX two-stroke engine, delivering 0.9kW or 1.2hp while keeping the power unit’s weight to just 4.0kg without fuel or attachment. STIHL ErgoStart reduces the effort needed to start the engine, while ECOSPEED allows the operator to regulate engine speed to suit the task.
Please note: this product is the KM 94 RC-E KombiEngine power unit. KombiTool attachments are sold separately. A harness is supplied with the machine.

Who is the STIHL KM 94 RC-E suitable for?
The KM 94 RC-E is an excellent choice for homeowners with large gardens, estate and property maintenance teams, professional gardeners and landscapers who need one adaptable petrol power unit for several different jobs.
It is particularly well suited to users who want more professional features and control than a general domestic engine, without moving up to the heavier-duty output of the STIHL KM 131 R KombiEngine.
One engine for a wide range of garden jobs
The STIHL quick-release coupling allows compatible KombiTools to be fitted and removed without tools. This makes it possible to build a multi-tool system around one petrol engine and add attachments as your requirements change.
Grass trimming and brushcutting
Pair the engine with the STIHL FS-KM strimmer attachment for cutting grass around trees, borders, fences and other areas that are difficult to reach with a lawn mower.
Lawn edging
Use the STIHL FCS-KM straight-shaft lawn edger to create defined edges alongside paths, driveways, lawns and planted borders.
Hedge cutting
The STIHL HL-KM 145° long-reach hedge trimmer attachment provides adjustable-angle cutting for taller, wider and more difficult-to-reach hedges.
Tree and branch pruning
Fit the STIHL HT-KM pole pruner attachment for pruning branches from ground level with a compatible KombiEngine setup.
Leaf and debris clearing
The STIHL BG-KM blower attachment turns the engine into a powerful tool for clearing leaves, grass cuttings and loose debris from paths and other outdoor areas.

STIHL 2-MIX petrol engine
The KM 94 RC-E uses a STIHL 2-MIX two-stroke petrol engine. The engine is designed to provide strong performance while reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions compared with conventional two-stroke engine designs.
Use STIHL MotoMix or a correctly prepared petrol and two-stroke oil mixture in accordance with the machine’s instruction manual. You can also view Masseys’ range of Aspen fuel and garden machinery oils and fuels.
ErgoStart for easier starting
STIHL ErgoStart reduces the speed and force required when pulling the starter cord. A smooth, steady pull is normally sufficient to start the engine, helping to make repeated starts more comfortable.
The manual fuel pump reduces the number of starting strokes needed after the machine has been standing, while the electronic ignition system supports reliable starting and consistent engine operation.
ECOSPEED engine control
STIHL ECOSPEED allows the maximum engine speed to be adjusted directly from the control handle. This gives the operator greater control when working around delicate surfaces, loose stones or areas where full engine output is unnecessary.
Operating at a reduced speed where appropriate can also reduce noise, fuel consumption and the amount of loose material thrown by a cutting attachment.
Comfortable handling and easy storage
The practical loop handle with barrier bar provides good manoeuvrability around trees, shrubs and confined working areas. STIHL’s anti-vibration system reduces the transmission of engine vibration to the handles, helping to make longer periods of use more comfortable.
The shaft can be separated at the quick-release coupling without tools. This makes the KombiEngine easier to transport and allows it to take up less space in a vehicle, garage or workshop. A STIHL KombiSystem carry bag is also available separately.
