The Arbortec Breathedry Waterproof Smock Black is a lightweight, high-performance garment specifically designed with arborists in mind. Its extended back length helps shed water, while the high collar with a waterproof zipper and inner placket provides enhanced weather resistance and comfort.

Product Details:

The adjustable hood is neatly stored inside the collar and is designed to fit comfortably over a climbing helmet. With a wired peak, bungee drawcord, and hook-and-loop storm flap, the hood provides superior weather protection.

Generously cut sleeves feature soft inner cuffs with thumb loops, while Velcro tabs help keep the cuffs watertight. The large waterproof breast pocket is ideal for storing a smartphone, and a spacious pouch pocket—accessible through side zippers—doubles as a ventilation point with mesh panels for extra breathability.

Additional ventilation is provided via zippers in the armpits, while side access zips allow for easy adjustments when wearing a climbing harness.

For those needing high visibility, the smock is also available in high visibility orange and yellow, conforming to EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and GO/RT 3279 (RIS-3279-TOM) standards.

Maintenance:

The BreatheDry® fabric’s structure blocks water from passing through while allowing sweat to escape as vapor. To maintain this functionality, it’s essential to clean the smock regularly. Over time, grease, dust, and dirt can clog the fabric membrane, reducing its waterproof and breathable performance.

We recommend cleaning the smock with NikWax TechWash, following the instructions provided on the packaging, then re-washing with NikWax TX Direct to restore its water-repellent and breathable properties. Nikwax care products are available through our stockists or at the link provided below.
