Stihl MS211 C-BE Chainsaw (Ergostart)

The Stihl MS211 C-BE Chainsaw is recommended fro someone that is looking for a powerful domestic chainsaw that is ideal for cutting firewood and general property maintenance, but with the added benefit of being easy to start and having a tool less chain tension system. The engine is a Stihl 35.2 cc engine that produces 1.7 kW / 2.3 hp. It’s not too heavy either as it weighs 4.6 kg. As with all the Stihl chainsaws, it is on display in our store in Swadlincote.

The C-BE version means that the chainsaw has both Stihl Ergostart and the Stihl quick chain tensioning system. Stihl Ergostart halves the force required to start the engine and reduces the speed at which the starter cord must be pulled. The Stihl quick chain tensioning system allows you do not need any tools to re-tension the chain when out in the field.

The chainsaw features the environmentally friendly Stihl 2-MIX engine which provides plenty of torque and yet save around 20 percent on fuel compared to standard Stihl 2-stroke engines. The chainsaw will be assembled and tested in our Swadlincote store by our Stihl approved team. We will also show you how to use your chainsaw.

STIHL MotoMix® contains no ethanol, allowing it to maintain stability for up to two years after the seal is broken – so it stays fresh in your equipment during long storage periods. MotoMix® is also made of non-aromatic fuel and fully synthetic, highly biodegradable engine oil.

    Chain lubricant promotes smooth operation by keeping the chain clean and free-running on the guide bar.

Warranty

Purchased from Masseys – If your chainsaw was purchased from Masseys and it develops a manufacturing fault during the warranty period, simply return the chainsaw to store and our mechanics will repair the machine free of charge. A warranty repair is when the machine has failed because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

Purchased online – If you chainsaw was purchased from elsewhere, then we charge an initial £29.99 inspection charge to look at the machine. This will be refunded if the fault is a warranty issue and when the manufacturer has processed and accepted the warranty claim in full. Warranty for non-Masseys customers is 4-12 weeks as we have a duty to ensure our own customers are prioritised first.
