Description
The Stihl HSE 81 hedge trimmer has a quiet-running 650 w motor that powers a set of high-grade steel blades (70 cm) that have been laser-cut and ground using diamond discs; a combination that ensures they’ll stay sharp for longer and provide you with the cleanest possible cut (a rapid 2800rpm stroke-rate further aids cutting-power). The blades’ 36 mm tooth-spacing is ideal for medium-diameter twigs and branches.
As with all of Stihl’s handheld power-tools, the Stihl HSE 81 hedge trimmer utilises high-specification ergonomics so as to optimise control and maneuverability. Its super-lightweight construction (4.4kg) allows for lengthy periods of almost fatigue-free hedge trimming.
A trigger-lock works with two-handed safety-switching to all but eliminate any chance of accidental injury; while the provision of cable-strain relief prevents unintentional disconnection of the mains-lead.

Warranty
Purchased from Masseys – If your chainsaw was purchased from Masseys and it develops a manufacturing fault during the warranty period, simply return the chainsaw to store and our mechanics will repair the machine free of charge. A warranty repair is when the machine has failed because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Purchased online – If you chainsaw was purchased from elsewhere, then we charge an initial £29.99 inspection charge to look at the machine. This will be refunded if the fault is a warranty issue and when the manufacturer has processed and accepted the warranty claim in full. Warranty for non-Masseys customers is 4-12 weeks as we have a duty to ensure our own customers are prioritised first.
